I wanted to show how tensions between people affect a shared space. In this space, the narrative behind it is the bathroom is shared by two roommates. One of the roommates placed their toothbrush in the wrong cup. The rest of the mess was caused by the opposing roommate in retaliation of the first person’s lack of care. It is indicative of two conflicting personalities using the same area and how that negatively impacts how the space is viewed and how people feel when entering it. The media and presentation were chosen because they are reminiscent of the simple style paintings and artwork one could find in a real bathroom.
